When Sony Ericsson introduced the W910i an innovation was born, ready to reinforce the Sony Ericsson Walkman series. The Sony Ericsson W910 comes in a transparent plastic box including a USB card reader, user's manual, software on a CDROM and a USB cable for easy connection. Looking at all this I couldn't wait to start testing the W910. The elegant slider phone looks simply beautiful. HSDPA, Walkman 3.0 and shake control make us believe we are dealing with a high-end mobile phone here. Will this handset live up to our expectations? The Sony Ericsson W910 has a neat and straightforward design making it a well-arranged and clear handset. The only button we detect on this mobile phone sits top right on the device. It serves to activate the shake control. And what this shake control is we will tell you later on in this review. The Sony Ericsson W910i we received for testing has a metallic red colour which makes the handset stand out despite its simple design. When the mobile phone is activated, one thing jumps to the attention; when you turn the phone the monitor turns with it.

Sony Ericsson W910i Lithium Ion battery
The Sony Ericsson W910i gets its energy from a 3.6 Volt 920mAh Lithium-Ion battery. According to the specifications the battery will last for some 350 hours standby time and it offers a talk-time of 9 hours. When using the W910 cell phone exclusively for calls and sending SMS messages, this time is correct. When you use the phone's music player you will be able to enjoy 15 hours of music-listening. Playing games the battery will have to be recharged sooner; after approximately 3 hours.
